Hi, I only use my phone to make and receive calls and SMS. I only turn on the 3G when I need it and the GPS when I need it. I even listen to music on my PC. So said, it there a way to disable all services except 2 (phone and SMS) to save lots of battery? Thanks.

Never heard that. Don't understand how an operator could control what goes to your phone. You always get the other party's sound because the operator has no way to know you're recording a call. Anyway there are 2 modes: recording from the micro, and I have to turn on the speaker so the other...

Is there any app to test in which frequency are the signal being broadcasted, and another to show me the supported frequencies on my device?

Tried with 2 SIM cards 4G from 2 different networks (Meteor and 3 from Ireland) and no 4G.

So you say if the option should always be there in the menu, even if there's no 4G signal available? Maybe rooting the phone and using this app...

Third party on Amazon. Anyway if i'll try first with another network operator befor asking for a refund. I'm using Meteor from Ireland. In Ireland Vodaphone, 3, and O2 also support 4G already.
