Well, I went into the Google Assistant and changed it to voice mode rather than voice recognition and now it works

It is almost as if Chrome is not linked to the command.

I got it...I uninstalled. When I clicked on the microphone it said it needed to download addition stuff...so I did. Same thing.

Long press the google app? I did, see the little "i"..press it and get to App Indo. But nowhere to uninstall anything?

So I bought 3 new Google Pixels to replace my wife, daughters and my old 3aXL. Made the transfer from all 3 phones. Theirs are all good. Mine seems ok for awhile, but now I am having issues with "Hey Google" and the Google Search bar with microphone which appears at the bottom of the screen...

Well... Another update and now back to normal. Thanks for the help!

Yep....I saw the phone slider....it was all the way up.

I can't find a phone volume slider. Ringtone media system and notification is what I can see.

To add....we just got new Panasonic Phones for our home which have a Bluetooth features. I was able to pair my phone to our home system. When my wife calls my cell, it registers on my cell and home units, but there sound...same as before. So it is not working there either.

Nope.....at first I thought it was my car. Made sure my headset was off....zero. Then I came in the house, and tried with just my headset. Same deal. I clicked on the little gear thing in the bluetooth setting and music and phone are connected. I get the music....zero phone. Just a pain...

Rank:None My J7 will pair with my car system and headset Music plays. If I get any messages or alerts they play through the bluetooth. If the phone rings however...there is zero. No sound through the bluetooth device. It as if the speaker and microphone have been muted. As a last resort I did...
