Not much traffic here, right? :) If you haven't already bought it, today is the last day to get the deal at Amazon. In any case, you can install the Google Play services easily now and get the full Play Store, and YES, the apps work just like any other phone with regards to notifications...

The Fire Phone does (natively) have Wi-Fi Hotspot built into the OS. Assuming your carrier / plan allows it, then the phone definitely does. Under SETTINGS / Wi-Fi & Networks there is "Setup a Wi-Fi Hotspot".

Do you actually HAVE a Fire Phone? I didn't think so. If you did (and didn't have all the bias of the 6 month old negative reviews), you were able to step outside the Android "box" for a moment, you'd see that for $100, it's a really decent phone. It's Fire OS, not Android, so knowing that...

For my Tab Pro 8.4 and Tab S 8.4 I bought the Fintie cases from Amazon. The black case for my Bronze Tab S was only $7 shipped PRIME a week ago... ($11 now). I like their quality. Can fold as a stand, too.

Doesn't something a little less extreme, like a Nova Launcher, get you away from TouchWIZ without flashing ROM's? I'm very happy With Nova Launcher Prime. Gives me back a more Android-look UI.

Because why? Because the "High End" Samsung programmers never make errors while the "Low End" programmers do? Apple is WAY MORE "High End" than a Samsung Pro or S, and yet it is riddled with problems. So, have fun switching to an iPad Air 2. Just take a breath and relax. It's a tablet...

Like dynot said, how about some details? Sounds like you are a root expert, having rooted all your android devices, but many of us are not, so if you give any details, please supply URL's and needed details. I was intrigued with your hints of faster microSD card read times, and better battery...

it's definitely shady on the part of Staples, but the regular price IS $399.99. If you look online, you see there is a $10 savings (makes it $389.99) and then another $40 "instant savings" making it $349.99. Just print out the online page and go into the store. The store DOES match/honor...

The same thing happened to me. When I pulled it up on my phone and showed them the online price was $349.99, the manager came over and did a $50 price match. The coupon says it's $100 off tablets REGULARLY PRICED $399 or more. The tablet IS regularly priced at $399 or more, so the coupon...
