    My order status changed from backordered to order placed this morning when I checked. I reserved and did the early pre-order on August 9th.

    Just talked with Samsung again. Was told I can still expect my shipment by the 24th. They are shipping from several different warehouses and the order will say backordered until it ships. I ordered the 512gb ocean blue Tmobile variant

    Unfortunately mine now says backordered on the site as well and no cancel button. About to hit customer service again to find out what the hell!!

    If I go to the app it says backordered, when I got the website it still says pre-order.

    I got the same status so I contacted Samsung. Basically it must be a glitch, rep says mine is estimated to ship August 19th.
