Have anyone notice on the Samsung website the price have went down its was originally 999 for 128 gb not it’s 924 and the 512gb is 1,156.24

Are you sure you don't have any kind of employee or student discount attached to your account? For example my employer has deals with many companies and any Samsung products we get 7% or something like that off. Your prices match exactly that. Attached shows the price when added to my cart.

I was use my sister Uniday with education discount, the price low from 999 to 929, but when I add trade-in option, price went back to 954.

But, better than nothing, I saved total $45.

Lol no prices are not reduced, he probably doesn't realize discount is attached to his account. For example my employer discount is tied to my Samsung account and the discount gets automatically applied at check out irrespective of logging via Samsung app or website etc.

Don't cancel your order or anything like that thinking price has reduced

Best test for anyone, open browser in incognito mode and add to cart, checkout all the way without logging in and you will see there is no discount.

Just think about it for a sec, they are not crazy to announce a prize and reduce it even before the phone has gone for sale in stores. Prices will obviously reduce, they will run bunch of different deals etc in the coming weeks but not now.

People who reserved got the option of preordering the note on the 9th...before it opened for everyone else on the 10th, I believe.

That’s so bizarre. I reserved it and ordered on the 12th. I guess there is no reason to reserve. Just a ploy to rope people in ASAP. I sat on the reservation email because I was still debating on the phone. My cancel button is still there. WTH. Never a rhyme or reason to this stuff

Well it definitely looks like Samsung didn't except to get hit with so many 512gb orders. I just checked on the Shop Samsung app and it says estimated to ship week of September 23rd for the T-Mobile variant. That will be a month or more after launch, that is insane.

Well my cancel button is gone .phone still says preorder .head set was back ordered now shows in process and has track info.I oredered morning 8/11 I had originally ordered on t mobile and cancelled it.

I'm pretty livid. I "reserved" my preorder, then pre-ordered the first night possible (before you could thru the carriers), and I'm backordered? That's pretty messed up if people ordered after the fact thru carriers and get theirs on time. first world problems I know, but it's the principal in the matter

I got the same status so I contacted Samsung. Basically it must be a glitch, rep says mine is estimated to ship August 19th.
