are there any mods that make the speaker louder? using poweramp and having the volume all the way up isn't really that loud when there's other sounds around.

i've had my phone since launch and i've tried out various apps since. i've now rooted (my first root) and downloaded root explorer and i noticed my SD card is full of a bunch of random old folders of apps i don't use anymore. can i reformat my SD card to get the bare minimum? will i need to save...

maybe not the best place for this question, but, i noticed my SD card is getting full of a bunch of random old folders of apps i don't use anymore. can i reformat my SD card to get the bare minimum? will i need to save anything specific so as to not screw anything up (the ROM, clockwork, etc)?

can i assume it's safe to delete the .zip files once i've flashed them? again, this is my first rooting experience and i haven't notice this info anywhere yet.

NOTE: Small little glitch. After flashing the above, please install this fix to fix fcs with weather related items. how should i go about installing this fix? just like flashing the ROM itself? this is my first foray into rooting/flashing. thanks.
