Is it safe to download the OTA update with a rooted phone?

Yeah, i have a rooted TB. I dont have any roms on it. Its still sense. I was wondering if i would lose root if i downloaded it OTA?

in my limited experience, i believe that any OTA update you install on a rooted device will result in a lose of root.
