Recently had the same issue in a hire car in the US. I have a case on my S7 and the aux cable seems to be too thick to fit with the case on. Even with the case of the connection is not great, it felt as though the cable was about to pull out, not as solid a connection as I get with headphones...

Just got the June update and installed it, so looks like it is rolling out now :-)

Nothing either yet. On Tesco Mobile (although I believe the phone is not locked to TM), still on April update.
