You should be able to get one cheaper than that online now. As for lollipop: People are always desperate to upgrade to the latest operating system but in my opinion, 5.02 does little or nothing and in fact, after various bugs, I went back to 4.4 which is great.

Happened to me and this is what I did: Go to recovery mode. Power+volume up key. Scroll down and wipe cache then factory recover then reboot. It may take some time to reload apps but be patient. I had to restart twice and it's been fine ever since. Took about twenty minutes to sort itself

Yes I tried that. It may have been due to reinstalling various apps, who knows but it all works fine on 4.4.2

I got sick of the bugs and freezes of lollipop so I've gone back to KK 4.4.2 and now everything is smooth and fine again. If the UK ever decides to upgrade to a sensible version of lollipop, I might give it another try but until then - for me at any rate - it's a waste of space.

Considering the price of the 12.2 though, I wonder what exorbitant price they'll be charging for that.

I've loaded lollipop on my Note pro but honestly can't see a vast difference. In some ways, I prefer the interface of 4.4 Strikes me that they just bring out changes for the sake of it. What do you think?

Anyone tried the I-Blason case? It comes in sections and looks like it puts a hard screen over the top of the normal one so I wonder if it works as well with the pen etc.

Re: Ok, what are you using the Note Pro for? I use mine for going on the net and watching the occasional downloaded films. I've not used the notepad aspect once. I use xperia z ultra's 'sketch' to jot the odd thing down. I should have got the 12.2 tab really . . . . . . .

It's the same on mine running 5.02 I hadn't noticed it before but lollipop obviously breaks it.
