No kidding hwa on the HD2 is happening for real maybe the hd 2 will never die several guys on xda has a new kernel running hwa, Dorimanx, rick1995, securecrt, an Xylograph from xda have a test kernel that is running hwa, I can't wait to test an try this out myself hope they get it out really...

You know you really didn't answer his questions you sounded like a carrier trying to prevent someone from rooting their phone, I believe that their will be lot of support htc one series I'm sure someone will port aosp, aokp or CM9 at some point just be patient their already forums for one series...

I don't know much about the gravity smart but if it could be rooted you could delete the market updater apk an market apk it self or install a older version of the market titanium backup is good for such things there may be an app somewhere on the market that works similar for unrooted devices...

If ya want to try ics on ur tb try xda. Most are still in beta there appears to be a lot work going on I'm using ics now every day thanks to them.
