I used the app Menu Button (No root). Once installed a short press will open the hidden menu. You may have to select Menu Button from a list of keyboards first but after that the short press will open the hidden menu.

I just switched to Hangouts until the orange can be changed.

Re: Battery drain after 4.3 update I was at 80% about 30 minutes after I unplugged it after a full recharge and it was sitting idle with display off (4G on, BT on, Wifi off). It also used to always charge when I plugged it in my car while Waze was on but now with it plugged it still drains...

Just wanted to drop in and say hello. Just upgraded from HTC Incredible to HTC Rezound. Just had to go with the extended battery as always but happy with my new phone! /wave
