If you have not already, you need to format large cards to FAT32. I know I had to with my 64GB card. Search the forums for FAT 32 and you should be able to find a utility.

I have been using it for the last 24 hours. I have not noticed an appreciable battery drain, but I gave up on it as it was counter intuitive to me. Too many years of swiping to unlock.

Not sure I can help on 1 or 2. For 3, did you remove the widgets, etc. from the touchwiz launcher? Failure to do so can run down your battery as they continue to run.
