I had the same problem. I though it might be because I am using adw launcher. I played around with the settings in adw and smoothed it out so it was bearable. It's still not as smooth as it should be.

I wiped all data from the phone and flashed again. The force close is gone, and everything seems ok. The only thing that is a little strange is I get a quick vibrate or two while the phone is booting. Is that normal? Thanks for holding my hand through this one guys!

I am using odin to flash. I figured if I let the phone reboot before I flash whatever bug thats in there might get into the new rom.

I went from bone stock to superclean 2.9. I had no issues at all. The phone was great. I installed that .apk file and It gave me my force close problem.

I downloaded 2.9.2 This file- EC10SC292x_DXC.tar and then extracted it and used .md5 file in odin. I just flashed after clearing both caches and pulling the battery in cwm. When I put the battery back in, the phone was still in cwm. I rebooted from there and still have a force close loop.

I cleared the cache and pulled the battery. Flashing now with odin. The phone calmed down enough for me to get a copy on my sd card so I will go that route if this flash doesn't work. I really appreciate the help.

I am really over my head here. This is my first time in cwm. I cleared the dalvik and cache partition. I am flashing once again. Is there a way to exit cwm without booting the phone?

I just flashed 2.9.2 and the force close problem got worse. I could barely get the phone to power down. I am flashing again right now. Any suggestions?
