You could try mounting your sd card as R/W in es file explorer. Hope this helps..

Well, you can't really remove individual apps from the my apps list because every app that you have ever installed is on that list, and the list is there to help incase you need to reinstall apps quickly. And you can uninstall the bloatware that you don't use by rooting your phone and installing...

It might be a certain app on your phone thats placing these folders on your phone....if not then you're going to have to download some kind of antivirus from the google playstore and use it to scan your device, if there is a virus then that should take care of it.

You should set up a microsoft exchange account on both devices. That should synchronize both devices with the account.

download es file explorer from the google playstore,you should be able to copy and rename srt files.

You could try rooting your phone and installing a custom rom with the newest android version(or something close). Or you could fish around on google and try to find a stock rom for your phone which you should be able to to manually install using a pc, other than that i don't think there is a way...

Not to jump to conclusions, but the phone might be dead.

I think that if you go to settings>about phone>system update, you should find an option called automatic update...you should uncheck that and see if the system update comes up again.
