FWIW, I got it today. In and out of the car about 4 times, connected automatically in about 10-15 seconds, seamless.

And with the Nova backup from my P5 everything looked identical when loaded to my P6

Yeah, it's a bit inconsistent.

Super easy, the go-to for most is Nova. There is a setting where you chose which launcher - Pixel of Nova, so you don;t even have to uninstall anything. I got the paid version, though it was so long ago I don't even remember the added features

Does the pixel launcher have the same gestures ability? 1 finger swipe down 2 finger swipe down 1 finger swipe up 2 finger swipe up Finger rotation and more..... an don't forget removing the google search bar/

I do have smart unlock. I'll see if long idle times caused it

What I found interesting is that most cases, including the incipio, extend only the area around the camera to protect it, that bump still protrudes, will not lay flat on a solid surface, and I think may be susceptible to damage if drop the wrong way. With the Otterbox Defender Pro the whole...

Yeah, it's not after fingerprint, and it's not that the fingerprint isn't working. It's that on some instances the fingerprint isn't even an option - it goes straight to the pattern unlock screen

It seems to be more random. But yes, 'power button instantly lock' in off. . Phone is up-to-date

I'm sure there's a reason/rhyme, but sometimes when I got to unlock my phone the fingerprint option isn't even offered, just the unlock pin-pattern?

Ended up with the Otterbox Defender Pro. I'm not thrilled with the larger form factor, but even with my small hands is it offering superior grip/handling than the smaller Ghostek Covert or Incipio Grip

I'm hoping people are putting on their SP before ever turning on the phone. I don't touch mine until I have a case and SP. It's like driving your new car for a week until you get an appointment for your PPF - By then it's no longer perferct

I was super bummed when I saw the did not make a 'CandyShell Grip for the P5, but changed it to the 'Presidio ExoTech with Grips' in which the ridged grips were molded plastic and not as grippy as the CandyShell Grip with rubber ridges. I'm (unhappily) guessing the P6 would be the same plastic...

Lots of mention of the Ghostek Covert. Just got mine, seems like a good midrange case, tinted but can still see the P6 colors. As for grip. meh. I got tio go back to the Incipio Grip as that seems the best grip option for my small hands as there's no Speck Grip yet
