brief battery percentage circle when removed from charging...

I like seeing the brief battery percentage circle when my phone is removed from charging. Is there a setting that can be turned on to see the same battery percentage circle briefly appear when I plug back into a charger?

Do you use Smart Switch and do regular backups then after restoring use helium just to restore data for apps you restored?

    S10 best backup/restore solution: Samsung and/or Google?

Recently had my S9 phone stolen (it was locked!) but when I got my new S10, Google restore didn't restore quite everything (ie: settings/screens) but did restore new versions of the same apps I had. So I'm curious if anyone out there has a good backup/restore strategy to restore screens...

    Question about factory reset option...

Thanks smvim for the info. I actually don't really need to go back to root and from what I know about the S6 version I have, I can't now anyway, which is ok. I just wanted to know if a factory reset puts back all original files, which might clear up my issue. Thanks

    Question about factory reset option...

My S6 (SM-G920V) phone was rooted until July of 2016. I had to send the phone into a Samsung repair center because the battery was swelling and they would replace it. When I got the phone back they had upgraded the firmware to the current version at that time, thus decimating my root. Oh well...

question about switching my S6 to another carrier

I'm moving my SM-920V from Verizon to Tmobile. My baseband version is currently specific to Verizon so when I switch will my future firmware updates be coming from Tmobile and will the baseband version change to reflect Tmobile? I guess what I'm confused about is if I were to manually download...

No "Ringing" Sound for Outgoing Calls

Similar thing is happening to our S6 phone. Sometimes when we call someone it never has an outgoing ring, just silence, until the person answers. It's unnerving.

ringtone/notifications settings location - help with restoring

My Verizon Galaxy S4 phone (Android 4.2.2) has all of my ringtones/notifications and alarm files stored on my ext sdcard. Recently I had to copy some large files from another sdcard over to my phone, so I popped out my ext sdcard, put in the other and copied the files over just fine. Then I...

what folder can I add new ringtones to??

I figured it out. I need to place the folders on the root of my extSDcard, reboot and it works. In the past versions of Android I did this at the root of the sdcard under a \media\audio folder, but I guess Jelly bean is different.

what folder can I add new ringtones to??

I mentioned in the original post that I created each folder, copied ringtones in the folder, rebooted and checked. For each folder structure, each reboot, the particular ringtones (mp3's) are not showing up. I also realize I can't change the default. I'm just looking for a way to place new...

Regarding Android Jelly Bean version and my Verizon S4 (sch-i545)... I know that the native folder location for ringtones, alerts, and notifications is at /system/media/audio But, where can I create a folder on the sdcard (or ext_sdcard) to add my own ringtones? I've created and moved mp3's...
