No "Ringing" Sound for Outgoing Calls

I just got my wife the S6 Edge on Verizon this past weekend. While everything seems to be awesome, she is now telling me that she doesn't get a ringing when she dials out unless she puts it on speaker phone. Tried turning off Advanced Calling, multiple reboots, soft reset, and a factory data reset. Nothing seems to fix it.

Is this a setting that I'm missing? Or a bad device?

Similar thing is happening to our S6 phone. Sometimes when we call someone it never has an outgoing ring, just silence, until the person answers.
It's unnerving.
