I am sorry for the late reply. I have checked google to see if my phone could be rooted and I didn't see anything. I guess I picked out the wrong phone lol I will wait and see if the phone model ends up being available in the near future. If anyone can get the model (the same one I have)...

I used the file browser app that was included in my phone and it showed no usb drive. Should I try something off from the google play store?

I tried mounting this. The storage settings does not show the usb storage that I plugged into the phone. I am using a maxchange usb stick (no otg cord needed). I also tried mounting this before I turned it on. Nothing.

I will have to try this. I will you know my results soon.

FYI: I can transfer files to android from my computer (the mp3 ones) . I can play them. but I would like to save storage space on my android by playing music or whatever that is stored on my usb stick. I would like to know how to do this, please help me. Thank you.
