I'm not sure quite how to make it show all the time, but at least make sure it knows where your home and work are - looks like you can set that in Google Now settings, then My Stuff, then Places.

Ah, that must have been why you didn't see the Shortcuts setting. Yes, apparently with this phone the only way to have widgets or shortcuts on the stock lock screen is to have it in swipe mode. It's still a "lock screen" in the sense that it keeps it from turning on and doing random things in...

If you click on the word Shortcuts there's actually a sub-menu in there where they can be configured. Took me a minute to figure out as well.

Hold down the home button and hit the Google button at the bottom. You have to opt in the first time you use it.

Settings --> My Device --> Lock screen --> Shortcuts Turn that on, and tap on it to customize. You can put any of your apps there, up to 5 at once.

7PM is just their standard residential "deliver by" commitment time. It will depend where you are on the driver's route for when you actually get it.

There will be instructions in the box. Last time I did this, I just called a number and an automated system activated the phone without needing to talk to anyone or punch anything in. You can also activate phones on My Verizon online.

Still haven't received a tracking number, but I called *611 and the automated system was able to confirm my order had shipped.

I think it has something to do with where the phone will ship from, although I'm not sure. A lot of the old Verizon iPhone 4/iPhone 5 threads have people discussing this.
