    bloat file

    so a while back I rooted to give it a shot. didn't care for it and unrooted. now I have this massive bloat file on my internal storage. what do I have to do to regain that storage and get rid of that file? is it OK to just delete it?

    I rooted my x2 a while back just to try it. I followed some instructions I found but apparently froze or uninstalled the yahoo contacts app which wasn't a headache at first but now it is. plus the main reason I rooted in the first place(Wi-Fi tethering) doesn't work. I want to take my phone back...

    Added it to my sdcard (I think, it was either that or internal memory) and loaded it from the startup menu using the volume button method.

    So when the gingerbread was released I didn't wait for the OTA to come out I downloaded the zip. Is that technically rooting then? Because I just got the OTA update for 2.3.4 and im hesitant to install it because I dont want to brick my phone. Help!

    woke up this morning and was checking my phone and i accidentally hit the market. it instantly loaded the "top free" selections and there it was. the picture quality is great with only one bar of wifi, haven't tried 3g yet. watching buffalo '66 right now and it just looks awesome. not one lag...

    also a few questions: - will my ringtones on my media card play on my droid? they're all from crackberry so i'm not sure if they're universal or not. - i also have a bunch of movies converted to .mp4 with handbrake and dvdfab, will these play on my DX2 as is or do i need to convert the files...

    coming from 2 miserable years with the BB Storm, I have to say I'm a little excited and nervous. In all honesty it wasn't the outdated OS that turned me off it was actually the hardware and the complete lack of support that turned me away from Blackberry. For all intents and purposes my Storm(s)...
