Just accept fact - you will get 5 installs on your first app. You will get 20 installs on your second app. You will get 150 installs on your third up and maybe next one will fire into something bigger. If this is not scaring you - go ahead and implement one of your ideas (the simplest one)...

you can make your phone ring from the google device manager, this is built-in feature. search for "android device manager" I cannot post links yet :)
