That would make sense if Foxfi quit working on my wife's S7 edge. It still works for her. I've seen a couple of threads where hotspot is no longer working for the Note 7. I wonder what VZW is doing to block it?

Totally agree. It's pretty much lollipop with the ability to control app permissions and doze mode.

Re: Still waiting I had that bug on my 1st Note 5. I believe it is a hardware issue because the one I got for an exchange has been perfect for over 3 months.

Re: Still waiting I agree. IMO the N5 is close to perfect on 5.1.1. Don't see the need for a hurried update. I'd rather Samsung or the carriers take their time and make sure it's right before rolling it out. If the phone was buggy right now I'd be screaming for an update but it's running great...

If the N5 was shipped with the same ones that came with my GS6 then I agree. They are trash. You can find better ones on amazon for around $7.

Just installed the update on my Verizon N5 and it runs just a fast and fluid as before.

The fingerprint scanner on the back was a dealbreaker for me. I use my phone a lot either on it's back or in my car dock and having to pick up the phone everytime to unlock it would drive me nuts.

No regrets whatsoever. This is the first Note I've ever used/owned and I'm hooked. Next phone will definitely be the Note 6
