No, since it currently requires that individual apps do it. However Night Mode is in the Android N preview for the entire OS, it's currently hidden pretty well, so who knows if it will make it to release. I certainly hope it does.

Wouldn't a setting to prevent the back button from closing apps be a better option and everyone can be happy? I have the same issue as you and it can drive me crazy.

I can't figure out how to change the calendar colors, I currently have a **** brown color for my calendar. The help in the app says to hit the menu button-->Settings-->Calendar and then select the calendar color but that's not even an option for me. Any ideas?
