My Jabra earpiece works just like that. You have to allow it in the voice settings of Google Now. I assume S-voice would require the same but I've never used it.

I had a lot of trouble with that on Verizon. I haven't had it happen since I went to at&t. I would blame the carrier before the phone, especially if service is spotty. Pretty sure your phone is only sending it once, from then on, it's all carrier, yours AND theirs.

One note that may help. Use the phone to format instead of the PC. I don't know if it's a must do thing but it's always better to format it where it will be used.

You'll have to clear defaults for the messenger app instead of kayak.

Actually I'm wrong on the free app part, it's a built-in widget, but I'm not sure if it's Google, Samsung, or Nova Launcher.

Has anyone tried using one of the free magnifier apps from the Play Store? It works for me. I can't tell which one it is (different icon set) but at 1x magnification and light on, you can hit capture and do what you describe.

If you install Nova Launcher (or maybe others) you can hide the whole notification bar. I have mine set to toggle with a double-tap. Not sure if that's what you want, but it's the best I've got. ;-)

Check your smart lock settings, you may be in your "unlocked" location. Also check the lock timeout, I have mine set to immediate, you may just not be waiting long enough if it's set differently. Btw, on your start screen where you swipe, you've got your 2 quick app icons, in the center there...

Re: AT&T S7 Edge update 8-25-16 PH1 Thank you Kelly! I did that today. I'm now on the August patch. Just FYI, this did add enhanced messaging and wifi calling. I can't say about anything else, it just finished.

I have no idea what's going on with mine, got the phone in April, it's on 6.0.1, but it's still on the February security patch. Checking for updates says I'm up to date. S7 Edge 935A bone stock. :-\ Anyone have any idea?
