It is only rumor and speculation that the August security update is the last monthly update. Even if it is the device will continue to receive quarterly security patches. In either case as long as the Play Store apps are maintained on the latest version there should be no issues.

I do alot of mobile photography and find the cameras on my Note 20 Ultra exceptional. That large sensor, remarkable night mode and powerful zoom lens produce some impressive photos and videos.

I use the default 3:4/12 MP setting as opposed to the 108 MP which requires alot of sunlight to function properly and produces extra large photo files without much benefit. I keep the auto HDR, scene optimizer, scan document, shot suggestions and Scan QR codes all enabled.

I have a Note 20 Ultra unlocked and received the July update last week.

Trying to.post a picture to the photo thread of the Note 20 Ultra forum and when I used advanced option to upload a photo "from computer" on my device it is displayed sideways and with no attach option.

The Note 8 had a nice set of special camera settings that Samsung took away like Sports Mode. With the upgrade to one of the recent OS updates the Note 20 series received the dual recording feature that allowed you to film while using the selfie and rear cameras at the same time.

That huge 108 MP lens makes macro/close up shots challenging with the natural Bokeh and shallow depth of field. A good work around is to toggle on the document scan setting in the Scene Optimizer feature, enable the 2x zoom and pull your device back until all of your subject is in focus...
