How do you post a picture to a thread?

Trying to.post a picture to the photo thread of the Note 20 Ultra forum and when I used advanced option to upload a photo "from computer" on my device it is displayed sideways and with no attach option.

Is there a tutorial on how to add an image to my avatar? I haven't had issues with other forums in the past, but spent way too much time trying to change my avatar here with no luck :-\ I can see why a lot of folks just leave the stock image... sometimes when you fight the machine, the machine wins lol.

In the mobile site tap the cog icon top right and select Edit Avatar. I haven't tried it for a long time but I think it wasn't working properly from the ACF app.
