I shipped my Note 7 back... it's been 2 weeks since they accepted it. Where is my refund???? I called Samsung and they said they're going to mail checks now? Has anyone heard of this?

I ordered mine OCT 15 (Pixel - Quite Black - 128 GB) from the Google Store. Estimated delivery is late November. I was really hoping it would come sooner as I have a business trip Oct 2nd and won't be able to take my Note 7 on the plane lol

Got my replacement phone. Charging now and syncing from backup. I don't get the warning when I plug in my replacement device but I don't have the green battery. Is this normal? I assume the green is for previously sold phones that need to be designated as safe?

My thoughts are that these phones will be refurbished and sold as new to countries that do not have strong consumer protection laws. Those that were sold to the US market will be insurance phones/refurbs. If I was running Samsung I'd do everything possible to get the profit margins widened for...

Got the email as well. Did you get this info directly from Samsung? Hoping this is the case so I won't have to be phone-less during the whole shipping time/exchange.

Just got off the 1-800-Samsung number. They said look next week for an update on the exact procedure they will be implementing the exchange. I asked if AT&T would be taking care of me despite buying my phone from Samsung directly and the CS rep said yes but I'm taking that with a grain of salt.

Made by a contractor but still unbelievable that they did not inventory tracking associated with each battery lot number to S/N. Producing over a million consumer electronic units with no tracking seems a bit far-fetched and I think people are going to start questioning details of this...
