I just received my 32GB model and it had a dead pixel. It also had minor screen lift and the left side was squishy and creaky as hell. The screen on the left side would warp and go bright (like when you press on a laptop display) with the slightest touch. Returned it today and I'm still trying...

I just ordered mine from Macmall.com. I could've went to Staples or Office Depot but I saved around $22 for not paying tax.

I use a microfiber cloth and damp it with purified water from my water cooler to clean all my electronics with screens. Works great and leaves no streaks.

I'm pretty sure you can return it without a reciept unless the serial number, when scanned, shows the date it was purchased. Just show them your ID and I think they'll give you a gift card to use in electronics. Then you would be able to use it to buy the 32GB model when they have it in stock...

Probably not since there isn't a serial number on the device (there is one in if you navigate in the settings) but that would be illegal and yes it would be wrong.

I returned my 8GB model last month due to screen lift. Hopefully they fix that issue with this new model.

You're not going to get anything, sorry. This is the way the world of electronics works, once you buy something there is always a better version around the corner.

I just bought mine from Staples today and it's almost perfect. The screen is slightly raised on the top left side but you can barely even notice it. It's not as bad as others I have seen on the internet and I can live with it. There's no creaking or other strange noises that others have reported...
