I wouldn't recommend it. Last time I tried to do that I hard bricked my s3. And that is extremely difficult to fix or even impossible. But you can install 5.0 lollipop with cm 12 or kitkat with another cm version. They both look great and run well on the s3 Posted via the Android Central App

Try clearing the cache from recovery mode, if that doesn't work, then do a full master reset from recovery mode Posted via the Android Central App

On lollipop, the tabs are put into the recent apps tab. To turn this off, go to chrome and tap the menu icon and tap settings. You should then find a setting that let's you change this Posted via the Android Central App
