Charged battery [new OEM] gives false readings I'm running KitKat 4.4.4, and the Nexus 4 has 1-1/2 years of use. Battery replaced November 4th. All functions work perfectly except for this: When fully charged, the percentage is 82-86% rather than 100, and it's hard to estimate time remaining...

Here's the problem: Tune in radio never shuts down completely, and their little icon stays in the Notification bar. The only way to get rid of it has been to power down the N4 device, and then power on again. Any ideas? Thanks :-/

Learning from experience... My Nexus 7 [2012] updated 22 apps today, and sure enough the Google keyboard had become default. It was a snap to get SwiftKey back this time. As for bloatware, I'm told that Samsung and the others are far worse than Google.

UPDATE: I was using a soft plastic case which wraps around all 4 edges of the phone. I replaced this with another case which leaves the top area open. Voila... Proximity Sensor works fine now ;-)

Could some kind person please tell me where the proximity sensor is in my Nexus 4? It works, but it's erratic. Maybe I'm covering it with a soft plastic case. Thanks...

Both my battery app and Norelco electric shaver manual recommend discharging the battery in use to 20% about once per month... then charging up. Is this worthwhile or just like "snake oil" Thanks... ;)
