[Closed] Win one of five Android neon lamps from AC!

There's no way I could pass up a chance at this thing. It would look amazing sitting on my dresser right next to my charging dock and bugdroid figurine... just saying. :p

[Closed] Contest: Win yourself a brand new Google Nexus 7 Tablet

This is pretty much the single best contest you guys have even done. I wouldn't even consider any tablet except the Nexus; gotta love the freedom and quick updates of Google's flagship devices. Shame that I'll probably only have a 1-in-10000 shot at this. But hey, at least it finally...

    Battery drain with new update

Because some users have mentioned that AT&T was offering replacement batteries as a fix to this problem, I decided to try a live chat session. Basically, the customer service representative acknowledged that AT&T is aware of this issue, and said that they are pushing an OTA fix for the problem...

[Closed] Win an AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G

re: Win an AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G What's not to love about the beautiful 4.5" SAMOLED+ screen? Phil and I agree that the screen real estate is one of the biggest draws of this beastly phone.

2GB Data Plan...Ummmm Where is all my data going!?

This is actually a known issue, and there is a thread about it on these forums (I suggest you read through all 5 pages): http://forums.androidcentral.com/t-galaxy-s-ii/124256-ap-mobile-constantly-using-data.html First I would suggest downloading "My Data Manager" or something similar so you can...

Just bought a Galaxy s2 - H Icon in top instead of 3g. Problem?

Re: Just bought a Galaxy s2 - H Icon in top instead of 3g. Proble "H" stands for HSPA. This is 3g technology. If you see the "H" icon, it is identical to seeing a "3G" icon on the iPhone. "H+" stands for HSPA+, an upgrade from traditional 3g technology. AT&T calls this upgrade 4g, the ITU...

    AP Mobile constantly using data!!

The first thing I did when I noticed AP Mobile draining my data was look around online. I'm not sure about the Sprint or T-Mobile versions, but I saw a number of people from the UK and Australia complain about this same problem.

i do not recommend amazon 9 dollar tpu cases

I DO recommend amazon 9 dollar tpu cases I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. I have absolutely no problems charging with the USB (though I must stipulate that I do not use any docks). The holes all seem well cut and I have full access to everything on the phone. The only excess hole is on the...

Is this phone real 4g (LTE) or fake HSPA+ ?

LTE is not 4g. It's actually 3.5G. If it were 4G, the download speed would be 1 gigabyte/sec. NO carrier has real 4g, and we won't be seeing real 4g any time soon.

ATT Corp store will not get GS2 in store

I also went into an AT&T store earlier today and the rep told me that no Californian corporate stores would be getting the phone. He mentioned something about November as well, like LarryM said earlier.

    Sprint or ATT Version ?

I agree with mpazevedo. The first thing you need to consider is the network. AT&T is great in my area, so I'll be sticking with them. However, if Sprint is better where you live, you should consider it instead. As for the phones, my (opinionated) preference is that AT&T has the better phone...

Is ATT's version 100% the same as international ?

Honestly, I have to agree. I handled an international version once and the physical button just didn't feel right. In my opinion, the home button was just too small. I have pretty big fingers though, so it's a matter of personal preference I'm sure.
