Hi,

I have been reading and reading...I currently have Sprint yet from the looks of this new phone "I want it"...

My question is which version and network do you all think? I also like the size of the ATT version as the Sprint version is quite large (I know only 2" yet wider and heavier) so that made me think twice.

Thoughts

Thanks

Larry

The biggest consideration is the network. How is Sprint in your area and how is AT&T? How is Wimax? HSPA +? If they are the same then it's all about preference. Hope that helps.

I agree with mpazevedo. The first thing you need to consider is the network. AT&T is great in my area, so I'll be sticking with them. However, if Sprint is better where you live, you should consider it instead.

As for the phones, my (opinionated) preference is that AT&T has the better phone. In smartphones, size really does matter. I personally would prefer a 4" size phone, because it's generally much more manageable. While 4.5" on Sprint is a huge jump from my ideal 4", 4.3" on AT&T is much closer. If you're the type to stick your phone is your pockets or you have small hands, the 4.5" might be a bit too unwieldy for you too.

As far as specs, they're basically identical, unless NFC means anything to you...

Thanks to both of you, I will be checking out the G2 from AT&T ... I had also thought of the iphone BUT realize the other is a much better phone and I like android.

Both networks are pretty equal as to signal in my area...The larger phone is hard to fit in a pocket I wear srubs all day so the side pocket can fit that 4in perfect and tolerate a 4.3 yet as said the larger size is just a little to big and also it feels clumsy in the hand.

I had also wondered being that the AT version is more like the orginal that it may be a better quality than the one with changed out specs on it also.

Guess I will check it out then weight to hear from here what the thoughts and any issues are.

Thanks again
