Got mine on the 11th. Have had no issues. Like the feel and texture on the back better than the 6 I came from. Rounded edges are very nice. The phone has just worked. Have not had any issues thus far.

Ordered mine Thursday. My P6 is having some battery issues. Received today (5/11). Setting up now. Obsidian 256GB. Liking the more rounded corners. Fits in hand easier than the 6. Plastic back is grippier than the glass on the 6.

Anyone else with a 6 or 6P going for the 8a? Pre-ordered mine today (obsidian, 256GB). Just wondering if anyone else is taking the plunge.

I did the move from the phone.

I just went ahead and side loaded it. Nothing different in the version number from the Verizon site (above) and the developer page. Took about 15 minutes with no issues after reboot.

Nothing yet for Verizon in Connecticut. There's no specific file for VZW this time on the Google page. I wonder what the hold up is?

Tap on the little watch icon at the top of the system update screen on the watch. I think it's 5 times, but I just tap until it tells me the update is downloading.

I 'forced' the update by using the tapping on the update screen.

I can answer on my watch and then move the audio to my phone. My watch is Bluetooth only, not LTE. On the current call page, there is an option to move the call audio between Bluetooth devices (phone, buds, watch). I don't have a screenshot, but the next time I get a call, I will see if I can...

So.... It's been two weeks. Is there any timeline for getting the app back and running? I would browse these forums daily with the app, but having to use the web interface on my phone doesn't do it for me.
