Awesome guys. Thanks for the kindness, haha. Kind of expected to get flamed. But! My upgrade worked and am now the proud owner of my very own Fascinate with froyo and no bloatware. Very pleased. Thanks again to everyone.

I checked that thread out earlier but I supposed I just glanced at it. I am now in the process of doing it. Hopefully all goes well. So far nothing has haha. Thanks for your help.

I've rooted and upgraded my original droid before and that was simple. I've also rooted my fascinate and after looking through the forums I believe I am more confused than when I started to look into upgrading to froyo. While I consider myself somewhat tech savvy I feel like a small child...
