    Awesome phone, but...

The Note is not for extra small hands. I have seen more Notes used by girls than guys though, even girls with very little hands. So dexterity also figures in.If you have very small hands and limited dexterity, you may need a very small phone, maybe as little as an iPhone? Get whatever size phone...

Gartner: Android up 45 million units in Q1, Apple up 16M

Gartner is reporting first quarter world-wide smartphone sales and what a quarter it was for Android. Android vs. Apple Apple is up 16 million units which is really great until you see that Android is up 45 million units. Android (in purple above) now has over a 55% marketshare and may have...

    It Sucks....Not Anymore

I wish you would have allowed for the possibility that we may have always liked the phone. In similar polls on other sites that gets about 45% of the vote. The real issue may be that it is not the biggest and the best. The Note still holds the crown. The Galaxy S III is a mid-size flagship...

    Another S3 rumour, sorry

Nice find. The S3 has to be at 4.8" or close to it to set the next level. The Galaxy S II HD was 4.65" last September.

Will the GSIII help Samsung become #1?

In 2010, the Galaxy S got Samsung up to 4" but everyone else was at 4.3". Still a good start. In 2011, the S II got Samsung to 4.3" and then 4.5" with the Epic Touch. Then came the SII HD hit 4.65" on Sept 26, 2011. Then the Galaxy Nexus and then the Note surprised everyone. Motorola got...

Everything we know about the Galaxy S3

Alex, great article. I posted this in the blog: ------------------------ The Samsung S3 will have to at least equal the Samsung Galaxy S II HD specs from September 26, 2011: http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-announces-galaxy-s-ii-lte-and-galaxy-s-ii-lte-hd-720p-display-korea ? 720p HD...

with only 5 or so markets with LTE this summer, is it worth it?

Yes, the new phones are worth it. Unless you are transferring multiple photos, songs, or other big files, keep the LTE off and save your battery. The point of the new phones is the big HD displays.

Am I the only one thats gonna miss the 3D feature?

That is exactly the right question. The EVO 4G innovated. It was the first 4G phone and the first major 4.3" display. HTC was no longer cloning. HTC was innovating. HTC was leading. Sales went through the roof. Profits soared. Then in June 2011, HTC went back to their High Tech Computer days...

Am I the only one thats gonna miss the 3D feature?

The sacrifice for 3D was a lower def camera, lower def display, and a small screen Those kinds of decisions are killing HTC. Finally HTC has a phone that can take on the GS2HD from last September and Galaxy Nexus from last November. Instead of leading the market last summer, 3D put HTC...

Where is the One S luv?

Well said. No one dreams of owning last year's phone. You may not be able to afford more, but it is not what you hope for.

Anybody else have zero interest in a 4.5" device

The renderings of the SIII show the display at 4.8" but in a case no bigger than the 4.3" SII. That's the wonder of edge-to-edge.

Anybody else have zero interest in a 4.5" device

It's funny, when this thread started, the thread title was asking if a 4.5" phone is too big. Now you might have zero interest in a 4.5" phone because it is too small.

    How popular is the Note

Samsung said that they sold over a million Notes in 3 months. The Galaxy S II line sells 5 million a quarter with models for ATT, Sprint, another ATT, TM, Verizon, Korea, and at least 6 others. The Note is a huge hit. Watch as Samsung finally rolls it out to other carriers.

Getting more and more tempted to try the Note.

The Note is simply an amazing phone. It is the perfect size. If it came to Sprint, I would buy it.
