I've been using the m8 for almost 2 years. Prior to this I had the m7 which was great also but had a few flaws. The htc one m8 lasted longer than I thought it would for me. The build quality is great and looks amazing as it does feel to hold the device. Even over time, my view on this...

I ended up getting a QC 3.0 certified quick charge plug that was on sale as I understand that they are compatible with qc 2.0 anyway. I plugged in my m8 and it went from 1% to 71% in 1 hour exactly . Does that sound about right?

Has anybody used quick charge 2.0 qualcom certified with their m8 and did they find a decent increase in charging speed compared to the stock charger? I'm still using my m8 after almost 2 years and it's performed great. Battery life is still really good but charging speed isn't!

I did have this problem on the m8 for a few weeks. Even with it turned on in the settings, it did not seem to respond to a double tap at all. Suddenly it started working again but I am not sure exactly what triggered it to work. I'm on android 6.0. Try restartin the phone or factory reset...

I have noticed the blue tint on pictures/videos also. Makes you wonder what kind of quality control they have in place :/ To be fair the htc camera app has been poor ever since they removed live filters. I will be looking for a new camera app on the app store Posted via the Android Central App

This feature still works for me in marshmallow. You may need to go into settings " display and gestures" then "motion launch gestures" to re enable it Posted via the Android Central App

Had it for little over 12 hours. My initial findings are that performance and speed of apps has increased which is definitely noticeable. So far so good. I will report on battery life soon Posted via the Android Central App

I agree their 90 day update promise policy for the one m8 has been a disgrace. The one m8 has not had an android version update for now a period of 1 year which is not satisfactory for a company and phone of high expectations. From what I hear it will be another long time until android...

I believe North America are starting to see android 6.0 marshmallow but they started rolling out to unlocked handsets initially and this is what people have reported. Expect to an update for your phone carrier within the next few weeks I'd guess Posted via the Android Central App

Apparently on the htc UK twitter account they say that android 6.0 released date has yet to be announced and it in certification stage for development. Bit of a back track on this 90 day update guarantee they give I think our american/south American friends have had the update up to now...
