Htc one m8 quick charge 2.0

Has anybody used quick charge 2.0 qualcom certified with their m8 and did they find a decent increase in charging speed compared to the stock charger?

I'm still using my m8 after almost 2 years and it's performed great. Battery life is still really good but charging speed isn't!

When I had my M8, I used quick charge all the time. It worked as advertised with a big increase in charging speed.

I'm using a certified QC 2.0 charger and the speed difference is big. But my M8 was charging slowly no matter what charger I was using, it was the micro usb port that was having problems and I had to replace it, it cost me 20 euros on a proper repair shop. Install the "Live Charging" app and check if it's pulling at least 1000mhA from the standard charger or else you could be having this issue, which seems to be common on this SmartPhone.

I ended up getting a QC 3.0 certified quick charge plug that was on sale as I understand that they are compatible with qc 2.0 anyway.

I plugged in my m8 and it went from 1% to 71% in 1 hour exactly . Does that sound about right?
