Individual volume controls for music, podcasts, navigation, etc.?

@Pedrore, I haven't tested that in my car (2016 Hyundai Sonata) yet... But radio audio is separate from Android Auto audio, so it makes sense that that would work. The issue I'm having is with wildly varying sound levels from one Android Auto source to another (such as Podcast Addict and Maps)...

Individual volume controls for music, podcasts, navigation, etc.?

@ireknole, thanks for the insight. I just tried installing an "app volume control" app, but the developer says there's a limitation in Android, wherein a background app cannot be set to a different volume from a foreground one. So the app just constantly turns the global volume up and down...

Individual volume controls for music, podcasts, navigation, etc.?

@Toaster- Thanks for the suggestion... I wish all I needed was an EQ. There doesn't seem to be a way to control app volume levels independently.

Individual volume controls for music, podcasts, navigation, etc.?

Hi, all- Is there any way to individually control volume levels of various sources in Android Auto? Without fail, I'll be listening to a podcast at a comfortable level, then navigation, or some other notification will nearly blast me out of my seat. Same thing with talking on the phone using...

How do I skip to the next podcast?

Hi, I've been using Podcast Addict, and Pocket Casts... in both cases, when a podcast is finished (or at any point along the way), I'd like to be able to switch to the next episode. As it is, I have to use AA's upper-left hamburger menu, find the app, select "Downloaded Podcasts" (or similar)...

Moved from Fi to AT&T... OS updates?

Sounds good, can you put a flashlight and a brightness slider in the top pull-down menu (without having to pull down twice like you do in stock)? Even better, I remember CyanogenMod let you do brightness just by dragging across the top bar, no pull-down needed. I've been missing that since I got...

Moved from Fi to AT&T... OS updates?

@SactoKingsFan, thanks for sharing your experience. Makes me feel a lot better... where the updates would come from never occurred to me until after I switched! Since you mentioned it, what's your favorite custom ROM for this phone?

Moved from Fi to AT&T... OS updates?

Glad to hear that! So when I check for updates, you're saying it's still pinging Google directly, not whichever provider's sim is installed. Is that correct? I'm also wondering what will happen in my specific case, because I did an odd thing... When still on Fi, I switched to the beta channel...

Moved from Fi to AT&T... OS updates?

Hi, all- I bought my Nexus 5x from Google, and tried Fi for 2 months before deciding its coverage wasn't working for me. I popped in an AT&T SIM and am now up and running smoothly with them. My only question is... How do I now get updates? Since the Nexus 5x is not a phone AT&T offers, I...

HTC One: Here's the SKINNY on the infamous PURPLE TINT (thermal defect)

Hi, all! Well, we HTC One users got a bit of a raw deal with this. One of the main reasons I bought the One was its excellent camera. This issue has been plaguing my phone for a long time (since before the 4.3 update), and just yesterday it reared its ugly head at a time when I really needed a...
