Yes it will work fine. I popped the SIM out of my note 7 and put it right in the pixel XL. Everything works normal.

I had to do a factory reset and the system ui now works. My ambient display wasn't working either and after the reset it works. Odd thing is I did a fresh install when I first set it up.

Does that work on your pixel ? It does not work on mine and not sure it's available on 7,1.

Correct. Ringer, alarm, speakerphone work as normal. The only thing that is messed up for me is notifications.

You are one of the lucky ones. Your email notifications are the same volume as before?

I posted this in another topic. The issue is with the animation setting in developer mode. Change it to .5 or back to 1.0. I had mine set at off and after a couple of hours of troubleshooting I discovered this was my problem.

I had the same problem. If you have developer mode turn on and have all of the animations turned off it won't work. Turn the animations to .5 and it will work again. (Took me 3 factory resets and 2 hours to figure that out).

I too have lower notifications. I have cleared cache and done a factory reset. Volume is turned all the way up in settings and music plays loud. However it is just the notifications that are very quiet.
