Can't find some settings

i can't find a few settings with the pixel xl. First is there a way to get the battery percentage next to the icon. System UI does not appear to be available. I know I can press on the icon to go into the battery mode but I miss seeing the percentage. Next one is turning off notifications while on a call. There is no setting in the phone section. Last one is changing the grid size from 4x5 to 4x4. I have made the display larger but still have 5 icons across. Thanks for the help.

Hold down on the gear icon in the settings shade to enable system UI tuner.

Not sure about the other one.

Does that work on your pixel ? It does not work on mine and not sure it's available on 7,1.

Worked on my XL

Works on my XL. You have to hold the setting icon in the notification bar for 5 seconds then let go. The system UI menu should appear.

Works on my XL. You have to hold the setting icon in the notification bar for 5 seconds then let go. The system UI menu should appear.

I had to do a factory reset and the system ui now works. My ambient display wasn't working either and after the reset it works. Odd thing is I did a fresh install when I first set it up.

Make sure you don't accidentally turn off animation scale, that kills the gear icon spinning think keeping you out of the system UI tuner.
