My advice to you, is to try stick to a phone that is new as possible. Nexus phone's are good in receiving the latest updates. You need to considered the life spam of the phone's the note 2 is entering it's 4th year and by tech standards you're buying a grandfathered device. My note 2 died on me...

Check any recent installed or updated apps and remove... Do a full hard restart by removing the battery and SIM card.

Try your SIM card on another phone if the issue follows the sim then check with your provider.

Same issue with my note 2 and I had it for 3 yrs I think it's a recent update causing the issue

Re: Note 2(n7105) keeps rebooting randomly. See it's not one of your apps making the phone unstable make sure you have the latest android version..

Might try a different keyboard... but I did notice performance is back to normal once I started using the orginal battery that came with the phone even the charge level is ok... seems livable between two batteries not easy to find none chines ones for the note 2 these days.

Re: Note 2 is shutting down automatically and usually happens when it's flipped down in my pocket Hi have you try turning off the pocket detection mode... if this makes no difference there are couple of free apps design to check the phones sensors to make sure you're phone is working...

Randomly once the phone exits sleep mode opens a browser page with link adtracker and then google play to download a game this issue is recent after the daily updates can't know which app is doing it but no recent apps where added or change something with these ongoing updates Posted...

Done the cache clearance, still same issue with txting double spacing especially when prediction is turned on. Appreciated any further advice ? Posted via the Android Central App
