I was about to post a similar question - I frequently get notices that "Google Play services is using GPS." I have location permissions turned off for the app, too. What reason does it have to be using GPS??

This setting may have been there all along and I just wasn't looking in the right place, but within the Phone app Settings is a switch to reverse the answer/decline motion. Even though I've gotten used to the default state, I switched mine to "swipe up to answer" -- principles. ;)

I had the same issue with how the base messaging app handles group texts, so I switched to Textra, too. I haven't had the other issues pertaining to calls/messages not being sent (or timely), though. I'm using Cricket, fwiw.

What was weird was that before I made the change w/in Outlook, Outlook.com wasn't showing in the Settings>Accounts listing. It only showed OneDrive. I even tried deleting OneDrive and the Outlook app and starting over. I don't understand how my email was working w/o showing in the Accounts...

I wish I had read some of the forum entries on the OnePlus site before upgrading to Oreo. Looks like many are having similar issues with other music apps (some during the beta phases). I don't know if it's an Oreo issue or that Sonos (and others) need to update their own apps, though.
