Do you mean text messages? you can try using something like Mobizen or Airdroid. I believe they have sorting. Our software, Monitordroid, can also sort by date. But it's really simple. So it will either go in ascending or descending order.

Re: my earphone jack stoped working I've had to replace the earphone jack on my phones twice now. Depending on what device you use, its not to difficult to replace. Just go on ebay and buy a replacement for it and do it yourself at work. It seems like its straight up broken. So thats my suggestion.
