My wife just had this same problem. I went to settings/apps (all)/gallery and clicked on clear data. This did not erase any photos. Problem fixed. Hope this helps. :)

Yeah I figured if it was a widespread problem I'd be hearing more about it. If I let it take the OTA update to 4.0.4 the problem returns and pics don't work. Anyway, I'm back on 2.3.7 for the time being. One nice thing is my battery life seems tremendous again! lol

Update: since I edited the otacerts.zip file the update notifications have stopped. It's been 2 days, so it appears that this method works.

:( Hmm, ok thanks. I read somewhere that if you rename a file (otacerts.zip?) to .bak it would do it. But I'm not sure how to access that file to rename it. *edit: I was able to rename file with Super Manager. We'll see what happens...

Mine works, although it does load quite a bit slower. Using the version for EVO 4G.
