Preliminary info: I was running stock ICS rom on a rooted Nexus S 4G, my wife was unrooted ICS. About 2 weeks ago we suddenly could not send/receive pics via text. I troubleshooted with Sprint & they had me update profiles, reactivate the phones, etc. I even did a factory reset, but none of these things helped. Sprint said it was probably a network/tower issue, but this didn't make sense since we were having probs at home as well as 75 miles away in Los Angeles. Also, my son's phone, which is on the same account (Samsung Transform, running Froyo) was having absolutely no problems.
Just for the heck of it today I unrooted back to Gingerbread, and what do you know, my problems disappeared. I let the OTA update get me back to stock ICS, and immediately I could not send or receive pics again. So, anyone else having this prob or know of a solution? Is it a Sprint issue or a Google issue? I really enjoy ICS and would like to keep it, but I also like to get the most use out of my phone and would like to send and receive pics. Input?
