Just for the record, I'm not overly fond of the flood of Black Friday and Cyber Monday ads but I just ignore them in general.

Oddly, it's usually the cheaper ones that are considered the best. All the high end ones tend to come out in the middle of the pack. But of course it's all down to both personal preference and your perception.

I've not had any issues with any apps. I use a few of the popular ones without problems. Can't say 100% there are no issues (way too many apps to try) but I think the majority will be fine. Split screen works great too.

Thanks. :) Yes SOOC. Editing night shots is an art form and unless you know how to do it well it ends up looking pretty dire. These are on manual mode as I found the auto mode didn't work as well.

From what I've read it appears to be just the security patch even though it was a large revision change. They may have fixed a couple of bugs but other than that not much of a change. Sony is pretty good with the security patches in general.
