    Android Central Photo Contest: Reflection

This photo of the Duomo in Florence, Italy, was taken July 2015 with my Droid Turbo (no editing). I am a choir director and we were touring Italy, and this was a puddle from a recent rainstorm.

Questions about purchasing the DROID TURBO from Verizon? Ask here!

Welcome! To begin with, the version of Android on the Turbo is basically identical to that of the X, so file size should be roughly the same. There will be some additional Verizon apps and bloatware on the Turbo because it's on Verizon, but not much more than on a Verizon X. Beyond that, if...

Verizon Motorola DROID Turbo Trade in "Any" smartphone for Turbo?

Re: Trade in "Any" smartphone for Turbo? Yes, you can sign up for EDGE and pay the minimum on the device, or pay more each month, or pay it off in full. You still get the EDGE discount on your line access, and can trade in the phone when at least 75% of it is paid off. Or, you can keep it for...

Any bets on the Turbo's price?

Yes, that's a recent change I've noticed as well. Less expensive upfront, but basically upgradeable after 18 months if you just make the regular payments. And I think you have to trade in your phone at the end, as opposed to the 2 year contract where you keep the device, unless I'm mistaken.

Any bets on the Turbo's price?

For a while, the Motomaker version of the Moto X was only available on 2-year contract or for full price, but recently they've added the EDGE option.

    Moto X 2014 Moto X Play / Droid Turbo

Re: Moto X Play / Droid Turbo I'm on Verizon and certainly considering the Turbo. In fact, it's the only reason I haven't ordered a Moto X yet. The comparison is actually quite significant: Positives - The Turbo has the same size screen but higher resolution, faster processor, more RAM...

Droid Turbo possibly set for a 10/31 release?

I'm waiting as well. I really want the X, but it doesn't seem to be offered on EDGE at the moment. I'm waiting to see what the Turbo brings, as my GNex is really on its last leg, but if they don't get it on shelves soon, I may have to find another way to get the X.

    DROID TURBO: Rumored Specs

Re: DROID TURBO Pics Looking at the leaked image of the screen, it seems to have the same front sensors as the X, so I would assume it also has all the same capabilities with voice, motion, active display, etc. The MAXX included all the same features as the X last year, so this would be...

    DROID TURBO Pics

This looks like the Moto X wearing a bulletproof vest. Dual flash, but no ring flash (doesn't really matter to me), and it's the same basic size as the MAXX next to it, only less boxy. The image of the front panel is blurry, but I can definitely see the sensors in the bottom corners like the...

This would be a great way to replace my rapidly aging GNex. Thanks for the opportunity!

Try Before You Buy - Moto X

Mine came in this morning. I was hoping to let my wife try it for a week, then use it myself for a week before sending it back. Do I just need to swap out SIM cards, or will I need to factory reset before making the switch?

Try Before You Buy - Moto X

If you got an email from them, it will include a link to their FAQ page. To send it back, you have to request a return label before the end of the 2 weeks. It's a prepaid mailing label, so they cover the shipping.

I'm a father of an awesome 4-year-old daughter, and the husband of an amazing wife. I don't actually need anything else. However, one of the things I've given up in my grown-up world is gaming, and this would let me game on the go, as I move between my different jobs and responsibilities. As...
