To fix this go to: Settings>Lock screen and security>Notifications and set the slider for smart manager.

If you find a fix, please post it here. Do you have a samsung, by any chance? I'm starting to believe that they're shipping the phones with adware.

Well, they can only do so much, you know. The fact that the company who manufactures the nexus devices also competes with them, is a pretty awkward situation.

I think it is, my nexus discharges faster than it charges :D (especially from a pc).

Re: why hangouts doesn't have WiFi sms It doesn't work like iMessage, the OP is right. You can receive an SMS on a tablet or mac associated with the same imess account that your phone is. It would be great if google did the same (receive an sms on hangouts in chrome).

With android L the battery is improved a little (from ~5 hours to ~8), so I hope it comes out fast!

@juanaldo12 What's your carrier/country? I'm on telus (Canada) and I have the same issue. I've already tried with another phone, so it's not the phone's fault.
