OK so it turns out that the Samsung files recycle bin doesn't include the gallery recycle bin??? Madness. Anyway I emptied that one too and now I have my space back. I've no idea why they decided that the gallery would not be part of the main recycle bin but there you go Thanks for your help

I think it is video files saved by a 3rd party editing app. When you're talking about going to Samsung files and emptying the trash, do you mean the recycle bin or the .Trash folder I originally referenced as I believe they are different. The recycle bin is empty however the .Trash folder still...
