I just clicked on it from the Breaking link above. BBM for Android. It brought up the Store link. *From my phone.

Noooooooooooooooo. My SGN8 3G isn't compatible. I can't get it. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Oh yeah it's live in the Google Play Store in Canada now.

I am currently in a mobile no-mans land. The current situation with BlackBerry has left me without a clear mobile platform to sink my teeth into. I have made a list of what for me is the top device from each platform . Seeing as I don?t own any of these phones, in fact some aren?t even released...

I'm not the one who categorized it. AC, Samsung and the carriers did. I'm just wondering why people think they can change their decision. I don't care how it's listed. I'm just glad I have one. :)

The fact that it has a phone interface and a dedicated earpiece speaker makes it a phone. The use of a Bluetooth headset doesn't negate the fact. I use a Bluetooth headset no matter what size phone I use. I'm not holding my arm up while talking, period.

I don't have that many apps installed that it has become a problem. I just simply store everything else externally.

I think that's because they went from proprietary to micro usb.

I get where you're coming from. Just so you know the note 8 international version does have an ear speaker above the Samsung logo. You can hold it and use it like a phone. I haven't but it can be done. Posted via Android Central App

On the .ca website it is listed with the Note family of devices. The only thing listed under tablets is the Tab series. It depends on region. The note 8 in Canada is the same version as the States one. Posted via Android Central App

That version unfortunately doesn't have cellular phone capabilities. The International 5100 and 5120 do though. Posted via Android Central App

It depends on what regional Samsung site you are on how it is listed. Even though AT&Ts network registers their version of the Note 8 as a tablet it still recognizes the 5100 as a phone and requires a voice plan to activate it. Posted via Android Central App

It's kind of one of those gray areas. Where do people draw the line on size? Is it exactly 6.5"s or 7"s or for some as low as 5"s.
